Smash-style sliders with crispy edges, melty cheese, and a tangy, spicy kick from Bear & Burton’s sauces. A little sweet, a little heat, and a whole lot of “did you save me one?”

Ingredients
For the Sliders
- 2 lbs ground beef (80/20 for best flavor)
- 1 tbsp Bear & Burton’s W Sauce
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
- 12 slices American or cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup diced dill pickles or bread & butter pickles
- ½ red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp butter, melted (for brushing buns)
For the Slider Sauce
- ¼ cup mayo
- 1 tbsp Bear & Burton’s Everyday Hot Sauce
- 1 tsp Bear & Burton’s W Sauce
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
- ½ tsp garlic powder
Directions
- Make the Sauce:
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayo, Everyday Hot Sauce, W Sauce, mustard, and garlic powder. Set aside or chill until ready.
- Prep the Patties:
- Divide ground beef into 12 loose 2.5 oz balls. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Press gently into rough patties just before cooking (they’ll smash flat on the griddle).
- Cook the Sliders:
- Heat a griddle or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Place patties down and smash immediately with a spatula. Cook 2–3 minutes until edges crisp up, then flip and top each with cheese. Cook 1–2 more minutes until done.
- Build & Toast:
- Brush slider buns with melted butter and toast lightly. Spread both sides with slider sauce, add patties, pickles, and onions. Assemble and skewer if desired.
- Serve Hot:
- Plate ‘em up and watch them disappear. Pairs great with chips, slaw, or more Everyday Hot Sauce for dunking.
