A smoky, slow-cooked gumbo infused with Breakfast Sauce Too’s verde magic—grab a spoon and let the good times roll.

Ingredients

1/2 cup Bear & Burton’s Breakfast Sauce Too
- 1 lb chicken thighs, cubed
- 1/2 lb andouille sausage, sliced
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 cups chicken stock
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning

1 cup okra, sliced
Directions
Make the Roux: In a large pot, heat oil and whisk in flour. Cook until deep brown.
Add Veggies: Stir in onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic. Cook until softened.
Simmer: Slowly whisk in chicken stock and Breakfast Sauce Too. Add Cajun seasoning.
Add Protein: Stir in chicken, sausage, and okra. Simmer for 30 minutes.
Serve: Ladle over rice and enjoy!
