Ingredients
- 1 lb shredded chicken (or pork)

1 cup Bear & Burton's Breakfast Sauce Too
- 2 cups masa harina
- 1½ cups chicken broth
- ½ cup lard or shortening
- 1 tsp baking powder
- • • Corn husks, soaked in warm water
Directions
Prepare Filling: Mix shredded chicken with Breakfast Sauce Too. Set aside.
Make Masa: In a bowl, mix masa harina, baking powder, and chicken broth until smooth. Add lard and beat until fluffy.
Assemble Tamales: Spread masa onto soaked corn husks, add a spoonful of filling, and fold.
Steam Tamales: Place tamales upright in a steamer and cook for 1-1½ hours.
Serve: Let tamales cool slightly before serving.
