The ultimate make-ahead breakfast casserole, made even better. Layers of bread, sausage, and melted cheddar soak up the tangy-sweet heat of Breakfast Sauce, creating a fluffy, flavor-packed strata.
Ingredients
- 6 slices bread (cubed)
- 1 cup cooked sausage (crumbled)
- 6 eggs
- ½ cup Bear & Burton's Breakfast Sauce
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- • • 1 tsp thyme
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Grease a baking dish. Layer bread cubes and sausage in the dish.
In a bowl, whisk eggs, Breakfast Sauce, milk, and thyme. Pour over bread mixture.
Top with cheese. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden and set.
